CEO Statement September 2021 – The Next Milestone on Our Journey
I’m excited to share the news that Epsilon is taking the next step on its journey as a global innovator in networking.
Epsilon has been acquired by South Korea’s KT Corporation and Daishin Private Equity. The acquisition matches Epsilon’s agile innovation in international networking with KT’s world-class telecommunications services, customers, leadership, and resources. Epsilon will continue to operate as a standalone company.
Epsilon has been acquired for its global network reach, exceptional specialist teams, and innovative technologies including its Network as a Service (NaaS) platform Infiny. It will expand KT’s global capabilities and provide new levels of automation and orchestration in networking to new and existing customers.
The acquisition provides Epsilon with new levels of resources that will be used to develop new services and capabilities. Customers and partners will benefit from the same standards of customer service excellence combined with the support of a globally recognised leader in telecommunications.
The whole Epsilon Team is looking forward to collaborating with KT which will drive a new phase of innovation in our business. Together, we will enable global digital transformation for enterprise customers and continue to innovate in international networking.
In an internal statement I made to staff just over a year ago, I talked about our Epsilon 2.0 programme and maximising the potential of our business. The results have been a more focused and competitive organisation. We’ve executed on what we set out to do and it has been an incredible journey.
Together with KT, we’re moving into Epsilon 3.0 and another wave of growth and development. Not only are we fit and focused on the future, but we also have the support of a global leader in telecoms with a dynamic and exciting international customer base. It’s a natural next step for our business after achieving so much over the last 12 months.
I’d like to thank our customers and partners for their business and support, and I look forward to continuing to deliver innovative and agile networking services that benefit our entire ecosystem.
